Volvo XC90 PHEV #1 in The Netherlands

The Netherlands have registered 5.523 plug-in passenger cars this year, down 61% Year-on-Year. A dive directly attributed to the fiscal changes regarding plug-in hybrids, as 100% electric vehicles actually are seeing registrations go up by 10% regarding the same period last year, representing now 37% of the PEV passenger market, when last year they had only 7%.

The Volvo XC90 PHEV recovered the Year-to-date leadership in July, by registering 123 units that month, thus leading the YTD ranking with 941 units, 12 more than the previous leader and now runner-up, the Tesla Model S.
