Outlander PHEV #1 in Record Market, Iceland

With 267 PEV passenger cars registered last month, sales have hit a a new record, making this one of the fastest growing markets in Europe, with the year-to-date registrations growing 185% YoY, to 1 099 units.

If this year leader is the Nissan Leaf, with 252 units, the Second Placed Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has won the best seller trophy in June, with 63 units, reducing the distance between both to just 38 units (252 vs 214).

In Third Place we have the Volvo XC90 PHEV, with 100 units, followed by the VW Passat GTE, that has 49 registrations this year.

Regarding other Alternative Fuels, CNG cars are up only 1%, to 225 registrations.
