Off month for the Zoe in France

The French PEV passenger car market continues to grow, having registered 2.802 units in April, up 29% regarding the same month last year.

France’s favorite electric vehicle, the Renault Zoe, unsurprisingly leads the ranking, both in April (990 units, down 20% Year-on-year) and Year-to-date (4.275).

In other circumstances, such sharp decline of the Zoe would mean also a plunge of the overall market, but right now there are several models with surging sales and making up for the Renault’s model numbers, like the Nissan Leaf (492 units, up 222% YoY), Kia Soul EV (138 units, up 142%), or the VW Golf GTE (172 units, up 46%).
