Hyundai Ioniq lands in Ireland

Ireland has registered 673 plug-in passenger cars this year, up 21% Year-on-Year, but while BEV’s are down 15% to 392 units, PHEV´s are up 187% to 281 units.

Ireland’s favorite electric car, the Nissan Leaf, was the Best Seller in November, having registered 6 units, while the Hyundai Ioniq Electric landed with 4 units.

In the Year-to-date ranking, the leader Nissan Leaf is in a different league, with 351 units, being followed from a distance by the BMW 330e (88 units) and the Volvo XC90 PHEV (59 units).
