BMW X5 and Volvo XC90 run for Number One in Belgium

Belgium has registered 908 plug-in passenger cars in October, triple of what it had in the same period last year, pulling Year-to-date sales up a record 145% and making it one of the fastest growing markets in Europe.

Two luxury SUV’s are disputing the favorite PEV title this year, with the BMW X5 40e (Best seller in October, with 121 sales), trying to catch up the current year leader Volvo XC90 T8 (103 units last month), but the 281 units that separate them (1.401 units vs 1.120) might be too big for the German SUV to reach the leadership.
