BMW i3 in Number One
The Norwegian PEV passenger car market was down 20% Year-on-Year in April, having registered 3.357 units last month, with the BMW i3 winning back the Best Seller award, thanks to 426 registrations last month, almost doubling the result of the same month last year, and keeping the Year-to-date leadership.
In Second Place we have the revised Volkswagen e-Golf (409 registrations, best result in 8 months), while the Nissan Leaf reached Third Place, with 287 units.
A mention for the Fuel Cell market, where the Hyundai ix35 FCEV registered two units last month, the amount the Toyota Mirai did in the same period, with the Hyundai model leading the yearly counting by 12 units to 3.
As for the LCV (N1) market, sales were up 17% last month, to 62 units, mostly due to the Nissan e-NV200 and Peugeot Partner EV, which have registered 26 and 22 units respectively, while on the YTD ranking, both the Nissan and Peugeot vans lead, with the Japanese registering 93 units and the French van a little behind, with 88.
