#1 Renault Zoe shines in Portugal
The Portuguese PEV passenger car market was up 153% Year-on-Year in July, having registered 375 units that month, with the YTD tally now at 2.060 units, up 106% YoY.
The 40 kWh version has done wonders for the Renault Zoe in this market, selling two times as much units in eight months, as it had done in the 12 months of 2016, with the 437 units registered this year far outpacing the sales of the Second Placed, the Nissan Leaf (246 units).
Two BMWs follow the Top Two, with the 330e running in Third, with 188 units, while the all-electric i3 is Fourth, with 145 deliveries.
The PEV Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) market is also growing fast, up 117% this year to 76 units, with the Renault Kangoo ZE leading (38 registrations) the market, ahead of the Nissan e-NV200 Van (35 units) and Citröen Berlingo EV (2).
Regarding LPG passenger cars, the market is up 143% to 909 units.
